Submitting a Children’s Book

What We Need From You

We’ve deliberately made the first step as simple as possible.

To consider your children’s book for Elliseran, initially we need just one PDF containing your complete book, including its cover, exactly as you would like us to review it.

You don’t need to complete lengthy forms, provide bank details, write sales descriptions or supply additional publishing information at this stage.

Why We Need the Complete Book

Having the complete book allows us to carry out our complimentary ELLISERAN UK CHECK properly.

We’ll consider the book from beginning to end, including its UK English, age suitability, story and clarity, educational value, activities, digital suitability, illustrations and text, consistency, child appropriateness, structure and presentation.

Where appropriate, we’ll also identify genuine EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 relevance — while distinguishing genuine curriculum connections from content that is simply educational.

What Happens Next?

Once we’ve completed the ELLISERAN UK CHECK, we’ll email our observations privately to you for your consideration and/or information.

Any suggestions we make are advisory. You remain in control of your book and decide whether you want to make any changes.

Submitting your PDF for consideration does not give Elliseran permission to sell or publish your book and does not commit you to joining us. Your copyright remains yours.

If We Both Decide to Go Ahead

If you and Elliseran both agree that your book should join our collection, we’ll then ask for the additional information needed to create your author and book pages.

This may include your author profile, book description, age range, genres or categories, selling price, Amazon paperback link where applicable, payment details being the price of the book and other information needed for your sales page.

There’s no need to provide all of that now.
