A New Home for Independent Children’s Books
Writing a children’s book takes imagination, care and a great deal of work. Getting that book discovered by parents, grandparents, teachers and other readers can be much harder. Elliseran is creating a new digital book platform where independent children’s authors can introduce their books to new readers.
Our full launch is planned for First Quarter 2027, and we are now inviting authors to become part of our opening collection.

Publishing through Elliseran is non-exclusive. You retain the copyright to your book and remain completely free to sell it through Amazon, your own website or anywhere else you choose.
Elliseran simply gives your book another shop window and another opportunity to find new readers.

Elliseran is designed to do more than simply place your book in an online catalogue. We want to help readers discover what makes your book special and give independent authors another way to present their work professionally.

- Attractive flipbook presentation that can be enjoyed on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
- Try before you buy, we offer to readers a few selected books so they may try out our system for themselves.
- Your own author profile, helping readers discover more about you and your other books.
- Opportunities for books to appear in featured titles, new releases, seasonal collections and special recommendations.
- Clear information about a book’s educational value and genuine EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 relevance, where appropriate.
- We offer two clear areas of sales – Children’s Books and Adult Fiction.
- A free link to your paperback on Amazon, where a paperback edition is available.
- Author sales information so you can see how your books are performing.
Our aim is simple: to give good independent books another opportunity to be seen, discovered and enjoyed.
A Simple 70/30 Arrangement
When one of your digital books sells through Elliseran, you receive 70% of the sale price and Elliseran retains 30% commission.
You will also receive sales information so you can see how your books are performing through Elliseran.
Author payments are made on the 28th of each month, based on funds that have been received and cleared by Elliseran by the first of that month.

There is no commitment simply by submitting your book, and there is no exclusivity or transfer of copyright.

ELLISERAN UK CHECK READER – For Children’s Books
This is designed to give independent authors another pair of eyes and to help identify anything that might affect the way a child, parent or educator experiences the book. Remember this is a completely free service. FOR CHILDREN’s
- UK English — spelling, punctuation, grammar, capitalisation and typographical errors.
- Age suitability — vocabulary, story, activities, instructions and presentation.
- Story quality and clarity — including whether the story is easy for the intended reader to follow.
- Educational value — knowledge, skills, understanding and positive development supported by the book.
- Activities — whether questions and activities are clear and can actually be completed using the information provided.
- Digital suitability — particularly activities originally designed for children to write, draw, colour or circle things on a printed page.
- Words and illustrations — checking that quantities, characters, colours, objects and other details agree.
- Consistency — names, terminology, headings, instructions, ages and recurring information.
- Child appropriateness — including positive messages and any potentially confusing or unintended messages.
- Structure and presentation — including basic publishing and copyright-page checks.
- EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 relevance — where there is a genuine curriculum connection.
We distinguish between a book that is educational and one that has a genuine connection to the curriculum. We won’t manufacture curriculum links simply to make a book sound more educational.
When the check is complete, we’ll email the results privately to you for your consideration and/or information. Any suggestions are advisory — you remain in control of your book.
